This stainless steel light mount is for use with a 2-1/2 inch round light. It will fit a 2-1/2 to 2-3/4 inch hole. It has a 4 1/8" wide face with a 2 5/8" face opening and a 2 1/4" rear opening. It is designed to eliminate the need for a rubber grommet. It also helps prevent theft of led lights. Once the light is in the holder it is difficult to remove, without removing the mounting bracket first. The light mounts into the hole by pushing it in from the face of the mount.
